Welcome to the 2026 QTCC Season - Let the Racing Begin
The Queensland Touring Car Championship is back, and the 2026 season is about to fire into life.
After a fiercely contested 2025 championship, we welcome back our defending champions - Peter Bray (Outright), Matt Corney (Group B) and Ettore Vosolo (Group C) - along with a full field of competitors ready to challenge for honours in what promises to be one of the most competitive seasons yet.
The season opens at one of Australian motorsport’s most iconic venues - Lakeside Park. Fast, flowing and unforgiving, Lakeside rewards bravery and precision, and always delivers high-speed, wheel-to-wheel racing. Its historic layout has been thrilling drivers and fans for generations, and it provides the perfect stage to launch another year of classic touring car action.
Expect intense battles, late braking moves and nonstop entertainment from lights out to the chequered flag.
The 2026 championship will be fought over seven rounds across Queensland’s premier circuits, continuing QTCC’s tradition of affordable, close and hard-fought touring car racing. Every year the standard lifts, the grids tighten, and the racing gets better — and 2026 is shaping up to be no different.
From the first green flag of Round 1, expect classic touring car machinery pushed to the limit and a paddock full of competitors racing for the love of the sport.
