Since its inception in 2011 the success of the QTCC series has gone from strength to strength. Initially, a starting grid of just 15-20 cars and a single class…… to present day and the need for 2 separate classes and a field of up to 40 cars, with a membership base of 35 full time entrants ensuring a full field of cars at each round. The competitive racing at both Queensland Raceway and Lakeside Raceway consisting of 6 rounds over 2 days racing totalling 24 races and 6 qualifying sessions provides a spectacular array of ability, presentation, and determination by all competitors, making for some great racing for the driver, spectator, viewer and officials, a true racing event orchestrated by a team of professional enthusiasts.
The category has seen not only great interest in new driver membership but for the fan following, proving to be a class for a great array of motorsport fans from the classic V8 enthusiast to the Japanese cult following and into the iconic European platform QTCC has a car for all seasons.
The current rate of interest in the class has seen a need to cap the entrants to maintain the integrity of the racing and to create a unique quality and diversity not seen within other categories making the QTCC a dynamic opportunity for sponsorship arrangements.
In recent years QTCC has made available sponsorship of the category with great success for the participants. The limited number of packages available has made the category sponsorship a highly sort after advertising means.
